As a chiropractor with a Master’s degree in Sports Science and Rehabilitation, Dr. Mark Donovan is one of Fond du Lac, WI’s most comprehensive chiropractors.  Dr. Donovan uses research-based rehabilitation protocols and advanced chiropractic manipulative techniques to restore proper joint biomechanics. Dr. Donovan’s focus is on function and rehab exercise programs.  This gives people the best ability to recover from their current condition, whether it is from a recent injury or chronic pain.  Through his training and experience, he realizes why so many people have ongoing problem areas as they present with incorrect movement patterns, muscle imbalances and postural problems.

Dr. Donovan specializes in the treatment of common musculoskeletal disorders affecting the spine and extremities, while also tailoring his clinical practices to meet the unique needs of his patients ranging from laborers, office workers, athletes and even expectant mothers. His approach provides effective treatments for a variety of conditions including carpal tunnel, plantar fascitis (heel spurs), headaches, back pain, as well as injuries related to elbows, shoulders and knees.

Dr. Donovan graduated from St. Mary’s Springs High School in Fond du Lac.  After graduating high school he went on to St. Norbert College in De Pere, WI receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.  While attending chiropractic school at Logan University in St. Louis, MO, Dr. Donovan received a Bachelor in Life Science, a Master’s Degree in Sports Science and Rehabilitation and a Doctorate in Chiropractic.  Upon graduating from Logan University he completed an internship in a multi-discipline setting.  Dr. Donovan performed rotations with chiropractors, orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists, and athletic trainers.  This experience gave him insight on how crucial it is, to keep communication between different disciplines open – always keeping the patients care the number one priority.

Both natives of Mt. Calvary, WI, Dr. Donovan and his wife Jeanna reside in the Fond du Lac area with their daughter and two dogs. Dr. Donovan started practice in Fond du Lac to raise a family in a great community and is actively involved in Young Professionals of Fond du Lac, Fond du Lac Noon Kiwanis, the Wisconsin Chiropractic Association, and the American Chiropractic Association.

Dr. Donovan’s greatest reward is returning patients to their active lifestyles in the shortest time possible. To achieve this, his first goal is to relieve the patient's symptoms, and the next important step is for the patient and him to work together to develop a plan to prevent the reoccurrence of the problem.
